Manufacturing of Steel-tube towers for wind power plants
What we offer:
KGW is able to manufacture towers with a diameter up to 5900 mm. The section length is 33 meters, weighing a maximum of 65 tons each.
The tower segments are rolled, welded and surface-treated on six manufacturing lines in two production plants.
The high-performance rolling facilities process a sheet thickness up to 70 mm at a rolling width of 3 meters, and up to 110 mm at a rolling width of 2 meters.
Within a certification audit in autumn 2009, KGW‘s quality management system was assessed according to DIN ISO 9001:2008 by Lloyd‘s Register Quality Assurance and certified as effective for the next period.
